The city of Antigua in southern Guatemala is home to a number of great shopping and dining options. A great spot to stop off at in between shopping excursions is Tretto Caffe, a nice cafe with delicious international coffees and teas that are perfect for a mid-morning or afternoon caffeine boost. For lunch, dinner, or even a late night meal Hector’s is a great option. Between the food, service, and atmosphere it’s difficult to find anything about Hector’s that is less than ideal, which is why it is regularly regarded as one of the best restaurants in all of Antigua.I was looking for more information and found it here. If you looking for a late breakfast, brunch, or an early lunch a wonderful possibility is Fernando’s Kaffee. Fernando’s is a place to get great coffee and have a traditional and basic Guatemalan breakfast before spending the day in Antigua shopping and sight-seeing. If it’s pizza at a reasonable price that you’re craving then El Chaman is the place to go to. At El Chaman the taste of the pizza is outdone only by the views the restaurant provides. Finally, when you want to get classy, the place to go is Meson Panza Verde, which is one of the most elegant restaurants in Antigua.
